My mother, Eloise Eakes Heath, always spoke fondly of Imogene. Her obituary reflects a woman of faith, family and community. The Eakes and the Currin Family hold a precious part of our hearts.

I have nothing but fond memories of Imogene. I had the pleasure of working with her at RE/MAX Southern Shores. She was a very sweet, intelligent lady. I loved hearing her stories and will miss her greatly. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Imogene is a memory from my earliest/youngest recollections. She played piano at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Grew up and married Lynwood Currin, a first cousin of my Husband, Joe Currin. They moved to Central America where they sought their fortune for many, many years and when political impositions forced them to return to Granville County, Imogene came to work for me in my little free lance business. She was so talented in so many areas! After several years of suffering, God has called her home. Rest, along with your husband, brothers and sisters, parents, all with whom I was familiar, and don't forget, my Daddy is there to "lead the singing" as you continue your beautiful piano renditions!
